Hello and welcome to Friday!!
As always, Friday means Project Highlights with the Crazy Crafters.
This weekend is a long weekend here in Western Australia with Monday
being a public holiday.....that means I get 3 days off work YAY!!
It also means I will have heaps of time to make cards so I have been pre cutting and organising my different cards I have planned so I can just sit and create. I'm exercising my #loveitchopit !!
It's great timing also as I need to start building my stock levels ready for
a new venture coming soon.
Cards are given for several different reasons....maybe a quick hello, best wishes of welcoming a new baby and there's also the cards for thoughts and prayers when we lose a friend or loved one.
I got my inspiration from Pinterest and cased a design by UK demonstrator Lynn Ellis
I made this card for a work colleague:
I think Island Indigo is my second favourite colour and I have used it here in every aspect. Starting with Whisper White Thick as my card base, I layered with Island Indigo and Whisper White. I then Island Indigo to stamp some images from Timeless Textures Stamp Set and the sentiment is from Flourishing Phrases.
Using the Elegant Butterfly Punch, I added a couple of butterflies for accents and finished off with some Rhinestone Basic Jewels for a bit off bling.

Leisa, what a beautiful card. so elegant and beautiful, perfect for the chosen sentiment. We tend to shy away from expressing our sorrow these days. but it has such a huge impact on those left behind, it helps them to know people care. Fantastic Card
