Day 5: Succulent Garden - Designer Series Paper
2017 Occasions Catalogue

This 12x12 pack is great value with six designs and each double sided, there will be no shortage of projects here.  The pack contains 12 sheets, 2 each of the six designs. This suite coordinates with a heap of colours including Calypso Coral, Mint Macaron, Old Olive, Sweet Sugarplum, Tip Top Taupe and Whisper White.

This is a gorgeous paper with floral and gingham style designs.  It goes perfectly with the Oh So Succulent Stamp Set and Framelits Dies.

Here is the card I have created today:

Sweet Sugarplum is a gorgeous pinky purple and is one of the 2016-2018 In Colours and just brings out the colour in this paper so well I decided to use it as my card base.  I adhered a piece of the Designer Series Paper (DSP) using Multi Purpose Liquid Glue.  The sentiment I have used for this card is from the Kinda Electric Stamp Set. I stamped this on Whisper White card stock then cut out with a oval die from the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies set. I love the way these framelits add just enough texture to the sentiment to make it really stand out. Then used Dimensionals to adhere to the card.

So there you have it!  I love succulents in the garden as they are pretty much a look after themselves plant.  And this suite is exactly that - the designs speak for themselves!

Look at the different effect when using Mint Macaron and Old Olive as the card bases.
