Hello again and welcome to the Crazy Crafters Bog Hop with our special guest, Dutch demonstrator Janneke de Jong from HappyStampin - Janneke was recognised at Onstage 2016 as a Top 10 overall demonstrator in the Netherlands - that is an awesome achievement.
You may be joining our hop here with me, Leisa Pedersen or you may have come from the person previous to me. Where ever you started, don't miss a single post. There are so many talented demonstrators in our hop today.
As Janneke is our special guest our theme is to CASE (copy and selectively edit) any project that has been created by Janneke. With so many gorgeous projects to choose from, it was hard to settle on just one project but as soon as I saw this card, I knew it was the one to case.
This is Janneke's card:
And my card:
My card is 6"x 6" and I started with Basic Black as my card base. I have layered with Crushed Curry and fabulous Designer Series Paper from the Urban Underground Suite. I took a strip of Basic Black and layered that with a contrasting pattern and then repeated my base layers in 3"x 3".
Then I did a smaller square of Basic Black and Very Vanilla and used the little screw stamp from the Nailed It Stamp Set in the corners to give the effect that the smaller panel was screwed in place.
I used Stampin' Write markers in Crushed Curry and Basic Black to colour the sentiment stamp on Very Vanilla cardstock and cut it out using the hexagon die from the Build It Framelits die set. I cut another hexagon in black but then cut that in half to create a sort of 3D effect.
On the inside of the card I again used the little screw stamp to give the impression that the panel was screwed on the card - cute don't you think?
I love how this turned out!! I find it really challenging with masculine designs but Stampin' Up!® has made it really easy with these two ( and many more) great products.
