Day 6: Carried Away - Designer Series Paper

This 12x12 pack is great value with six designs and each double sided, there will be no shortage of projects here.  The pack contains 12 sheets, 2 each of the six designs. Here is the card I have created today:

Night of Navy card stock is my go to colour at the moment.  

It is very pleasing to the eye and can be used for both masculine and feminine cards. 

I decided to use this as my card base, simply because of that reason. I chose the balloon print from the Designer Series Paper (DSP) and adhered it using Multi Purpose Liquid Glue.

The 'Happy Birthday' sentiment is from the Guy Greetings Stamp set.  I stamped this on Whisper White card stock, then cut out with a label die from the Tags & Labels Framelits Dies set.  I then chose a slightly larger die of the same shape to cut out a Night of Navy label and adhered them together as shown.  I used a few Dimensionals to raise the label off the card for a bit of dimension. 

 A great card for any age!!
