For All Occasions Crazy Crafters Team Project Highlights

Hi Everyone..

Another Friday rolls around before what is going to be a gorgeous and sunny weekend here in WA.

For tonight's Team Project Highlights, I am showing one of the cards I did for the Crazy Crafters Sneak Peep Blog Hop yesterday.

Here is my card:

I started with a Whisper White card base, and layered with Night of Navy.  I chose a co-ordinating design from the Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper, and I used two sentiments together with a few smaller floral images from the stamp set. The Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies got a bit of a workout again too!!! (I love those framelits). I mounted the sentiment with Dimensionals and finished off with a bit of Daffodil Delight Double Stitched Ribbon and a bow.

  Did you know that from just one pack of 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper you can make 72 card fronts just like the ones above?????  Imagine the possibilities.....

Crazy Crafters Blog Hop - Annual Catalogue Sneak Peak

Hi and welcome to a very special blog hop...

The Crazy Crafters are giving you a sneak peak of some gorgeous products that are available in the NEW Stampin' Up!® 2017-2018 Annual Catalogue which launches on 1st June.

As a perk of attending Onstage Local in Perth a couple of weeks ago, 

I was able to preorder certain products released for the Product Purchase Premiere or PPP as it's referred to in the Stampin' Up!® world.  

Only those demonstrators who attended this event at various locations around the world had access the Product Purchase Premiere.

I decided to buy the Delightful Daisy Suite and this is what I am showcasing for you today.  I couldn't resist this suite so I bought a bit of everything...

The whole suite consists of Ribbon, Designer Series Paper, Co-ordinating Cardstock Pack, Faceted Gems, Stamp Set and Co-ordinating Punch.  

From these gorgeous products I made a few different cards...

The first I made my own background with the daisy image from the Daidy Delight Stamp Set, made my own banner and used the sentiment from the same set also. I chose Daffodil Delight, Tangerine Tango and Whisper White as my colour combination and stamped off the Tangerine Tango once and twice to get a softer effect. I added some Gold Faceted Gems to finish off......and yes I cut one in half!!!!

The famous hashtag #loveitchopit came into play to create the next two cards - I used Wisteria Wonder as my card base, a gorgeous piece of Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper and one of the smaller sentiments which I die cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies

My third card I went for Night of Navy as my card base, again another design for the Designer Series Paper, and I used two sentiments together with a few smaller floral images from the stamp set. The Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies got a bit of a workout again too!!! (I love those framelits).  I finished off with a bit of Daffodil Delight Double Stitched Ribbon and a bow.

So from just one co-ordinating suite you have three very different cards.  Did you know that from just one pack of 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper you can make 72 card fronts just like the ones above?????  Imagine the possibilities.....

A Great Day Crazy Crafters Team Project Highlights

Hi everyone 

Welcome to another week with the Crazy Crafters and the Team Project Highlights.  I am so honoured to be a part of this team and love sharing my projects with you all.

Here is my card I have made for you today:

This card could be used for a number of occasions - either a celebration or just to wish somebody a great day!

 I have used Calypso Coral as my card base and layered with Whisper White. I stamped a school of fish swimming in Calypso Coral, Mint Macaron and Dapper Denim ink. I then took a piece of Whisper White and stamped the sentiment also in Dapper Denim. I used the Stitched Shape Framelits Dies to cut out and create faux stitching.  I took this and layered in onto a piece of Calypso Coral card stock, cut out with the Layering Circles Framelits Dies.  I finished off with a few Enamel Shapes from the Subtles Colour Family and mounted the circle with Dimensionals.

Crazy Crafters Blog Hop with Special Guest Billie Moan

Hello again and welcome to the Crazy Crafters Bog Hop with our special guest, US demonstrator Billie Moan from Rambling Rose Studio -I am so excited to be a part of this of today as I have been following Billie for a while now and just love her projects.

You may be joining our hop here with me, Leisa Pedersen or you may have come from the person previous to me.  Where ever you started, don't miss a single post.  There are so many talented demonstrators in our hop today.

As Billie is our special guest, our theme is to CASE (copy and selectively edit) any project created by Billie. 

This is Billie's card I chose to CASE:

As always when CASEing, we change things around a bit and here is my creation:

I started with a Whisper White card base and layered with Peekaboo Peach and Whisper White. I stamped the sentiment from the Cottage Greetings Stamp Set in Staz On Black and die cut a butterfly with the Butterflies Thinlits Dies.  I adhered the butterfly using Adhesive Foam Strips and adhered the layers to the card base using Dimensionals.

I love the look of this design so I decided to do a couple more in Bermuda Bay and Pacific Point.....I really can't choose a favourite.

My craft room is in shambles this weekend, as I'm re-arranging everything.  I thought I'd take the opportunity to do this whilst sorting through all my retired items.  I am a bit sad to see some of my favourites go but I also am really excited with the new products that are available in the NEW Annual Catalogue...

Onstage Local 2017 - Perth Australia

Onstage Local was held in Perth and Sydney on Saturday the 8th April and as I registered early (like the first day registrations opened) was one of the lucky ones......alot missed out; it sold out within 3-4 days. 

The Crazy Crafters rocked Onstage this year!!!
In total there were 38 of my fellow team members that attended - 35 went to Sydney and 3 in Perth.   And thanks to some really clever photography skills by Bruno Bertucci, here we all are...

Coincidentally us Perth girls all had the same badge for the Prize Patrol

Here's me with Marian Fleming and Lisa Whitehead.  It was great to meet up with other Crazy's.....I was beginning to think I was the only one in WA!!

I received some lovely swaps 

Marian, Lisa and myself must have been so excited and caught up in the moment as we actually forgot to swap with each other.....

I got to meet the lovely Kelly Kent and her mum Sheila, and caught up with Lisa Claridge and Yvonne Pree again after meeting them on the plane to Brisbane for Onstage last November.

I was also lucky enough to get a snap with some Stampin' Up!® celebrities

You're Early!!!!

Hello and welcome to Friday and a super long weekend!!!

It seems of late that Friday's are coming around so quickly....I could have sworn I was writing a post for the highlights just yesterday, maybe I'm getting old???

A couple of weeks ago I blogged a card I had made for our friend's grandson for his first birthday.  Today I am excited to announce that they are grandparents again to a beautiful granddaughter.......Amarni Mae arrived on 11th April, weighing just over 6lbs.  

She arrived a little earlier than expected and mum and bub are doing well.  Poor mum is going to be busy with two bubbies under 13 months....

A quick card was needed due to her early arrival so here is what I made.

I used Pink Pirouette card base, layered with Whisper White and a second layer of pink that I embossed with Polka Dot Embossing folder (retired).  I just can't give up this folder....it's so versatile and I think adds just enough texture without being over the top.  

I stamped the jump suit image from the Made with Love stamp set and die cut using the Baby's First Framelits Dies.  The sentiment is also from the same stamp set and I used the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies to cut this.

A couple of Dimensionals here and there and some cute little hearts from the Subtles Enamels Shapes and it's finished.

I used another sentiment from Made with Love for the inside of the card....sorry in the picture it doesn't show very well.  I then stamped a couple of mini hearts, also in the same set just to finish off.

For the Bride & Groom - Kylie's International Blog Highlights

Hello Everyone

Welcome to another awesome blog hop.  

We are being highlighted internationally today by the lovely Kylie Bertucci

Our theme for this highlight is:

Wedding

Most of us I would expect have experienced a wedding in some form or another, whether as a guest or as a bride or groom.  I think it's the most memorable day two people can share (next to parenthood).  Today, there are so many styles of weddings, from the extravagant and glamerous, to rustic, to the very casual.  Cards are the same - my creation today I feel fits the casual style.

Here is my creation:

Red and white always resemble love so I thought it would be a fitting colour combination for today's theme.  I have used Real Red for the card base and layered with Whisper White.

I stamped the floral image from Touches of Texture in Staz On black ink and used Watercolour Pencils to add colour.  The sentiment I stamped in Real Red and this is from the Falling for You stamp set...again fitting with the theme.

A very simple card yet with 4 very important aspects of a wedding - white resembling the wedding dress, flowers, and of course the bride and groom lol
