Crazy Crafters Blog Hop with Shannon Lane

Welcome to the Crazy Crafters Blog Hop with our very special guest, Canadian demonstrator and 2017 Artisan Design Team member Shannon Lane from Crush On Color - see more of Shannon's gorgeous projects here

You may just be joining the blog hop here with me, Leisa Pedersen or may have come from the person previous to me.  Where ever you started, don't miss a single post. There are so many talented demonstrators in our hop today.

Today we are asked to CASE (Copy And Selectively Edit) any project that has
been created by Shannon.

This is Shannon's card(s) I have chosen to case:

Here is my take on Shannon's cards:

My colour combination is Rich Razzleberry, Daffodil Delight and Silver.
I have the design the same and just changed the colours and the sentiment.

The first card is simply Whisper White Thick cardstock base with a few Brights Enamel Shapes scattered around.  I used Rich Razzleberry Ombré ink pad and stamped a sentiment from Suite Sentiments Stamp Set.

With the second card I used Rich Razzleberry as my card base and layered with Whisper White Thick.  Again a few enamel shapes scattered around and I added some Brights Designer Series Paper which I cut out with one of the circles from the Stitched Shape Framelits.  I stamped the sentiment on a piece of Whisper White and made it a banner with the Banner Triple Punch.

My favourite out of these is the third card....

Adding some splashes of Daffodil Delight ink on the layer, changing the Designer Series Paper shape and finishing off with a few silver stars and Silver Metallic thread really makes it pop.

I was really excited to give this case a go - I couldn't believe how making subtle changes to one card can make such a difference to the final result.  A big thanks to Shannon for showing just how easy this is!!

I hope you have enjoyed our hop so far.

There are so many amazing ideas to draw inspiration from so be sure to continue your journey on this blog hop by following the list to see who’s up next!

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Leisa xx
