Love is in the Air

Hello Everyone

Hooray it's Friday!!!
And Friday means another week of Project Highlights with the Crazy Crafters Team.

Gee the weeks are flying by..... already we are at the end of January and February is just around the corner and so is Valentine's Day.

Some of you may have seen through my Face Book page that just before Christmas I was lucky enough to negotiate with a local pharmacy to display my cards on consignment.  They have sold 8 cards!!! I am totally over the moon as I thought I would never have an opportunity like this.  So I have been busy this week making cards to replenish their stock.

With Valentine's Day approaching, I thought it would be ideal to include my latest project in the team highlights this week.

Red and White are traditionally associated with love, so there is no better combination to play with for this project.  And to make creating even easier, everything I have used is in one gorgeous suite - Sending Love,  now available in the new Occasions catalogue.

Starting with Real Red card stock for my card base and layering this with Whisper White Thick.  I decided to use some of the gorgeous Designer Series Paper from the Sending Love 6"x 6" paper stack.  I cut the paper to make a card matt - and the 'leftover' piece was just the right size to create a layer not quite the full width of the card.  I then cut some pieces to create a ribbon effect.  I used the Love Notes framelits dies to make the 4 joined hearts and stamped a small sentiment on the front.

Inside reveals the valentine sentiment, just perfect to write a personal message to your loved one.

The Crazy Crafters Team Project Highlights are every Friday night and you can vote for your favourite.  I hope you feel my project is worthy of your vote and if so you can cast your vote here
We all love receiving comments on our blogs so be sure to check out all the amazing projects from this talented team of demonstrators.

As mentioned earlier the New Occasions and Sale-A-Bration Catalogues are out now with heaps of new, gorgeous and FREE products to tempt your taste buds.  If you would like a copy mailed to you, please contact me here

Hope you have enjoyed my post today
