Celebrate You - 2018 Kre8tors Blog Hop

Welcome to the 2018 Kre8tors Blog Hop. I am so excited and honoured to be a part of this hop with some very talented Stampin' Up!® demonstrators from around the world. Our hops are themed based and the theme for February is Sale-A-Bration and this runs in conjunction with the release of the new Occasions catalogue.

And here is what I created:

Starting with a Whisper White Thick card base I layered with Rich Razzleberry. I used the floral image from the Amazing You Stamp Set and stamped in same colour to give a tone on tone effect. I then used the Celebrate You Thinlits Dies to die cut the sentiment out of Whisper White cardstock. Thinking it looks a little plain just white, I decided to use the same floral image and randomly stamp over the words, also using Rich Razzleberry ink. I finished of with a scatter of Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

Crazy Crafters Blog Hop with Special Guest Allison Okamitsu

Hi Everyone

Welcome to the Crazy Crafters Blog Hop today with our special guest, Canadian Demonstrator, the one and only, Allison Okamitsu from Nice People STAMP . I am so excited to be a part of this of hop today as I have been following Allison for a while now and just love her projects.

You may be joining our hop here with me, Leisa Pedersen or you may have come from the person previous to me. Where ever you started, don't miss a single post. There are so many talented demonstrators in our hop today.

As Allison is our special guest, our theme is to CASE (copy and selectively edit) any project she has created.

This is Allison's card I chose to CASE:

As always when CASEing, we change things around a bit and here is my creation:

As it's Valentine's Day this week, this is my theme for my project....

this card was so much fun to make.

I used Basic Black cardstock as my card base and matted with a design from the Tutti Frutti Designer Series Paper Stack. I created another layer of Whisper White with Real Red as the matt. I punched out four circles using the 1 3/8 Scallop Circle Punch and used my paper piercer tool to create the doily effect...just like Allison did!

Using the Lots to Love Box Framelits Dies, I die cut 4 hearts and added a touch of Wink of Stella around the edges and adhered to the doilies with Dimensionals. I added the hearts in all directions, thinking I could make a sentiment like 'I Love You Always' but I couldn't find any current product in my stash that suited this... so onto plan B. The sentiment I finally chose to use is from the Petal Palette Stamp Set and I used Stampin' Write markers to add the two colours. Stamped on Whisper White and punched out with the Classic Label punch, the sentiment completed my design.

And in true Allison spirit........I think it's "so stinkin' cute!"

Thanks - Crazy Crafters Project Highights

Hi Everyone

Welcome to another week of Crazy Crafters Project Highlights.

This week I have been working on customer appreciation cards. I love sending my customers a 'thankyou' card when they order from me. I made these with a Level 1 stamp set that you can get for free during Sale-A-Bration....more on this a bit later.

Starting with a Whisper White Thick card base I layered with Wisteria Wonder and Bermuda Bay ( I LOVE this colour) I used the floral image from the Amazing You Stamp Set and stamped in same colour to give a tone on tone effect. I then used a sentiment from the All Things Thanks stamp set and cut it once stamped so I only used the "Thankyou". I adhered the sentiment with Dimensionals.

Just for You - 2018 Kre8tors Blog Hop

Welcome to our first ever 2018 Kre8tors Blog Hop. I am so excited and honoured to be a part of this hop with some very talented Stampin' Up!® demonstrators from around the world. Our hops are themed based and the theme for January is Occasions to coincide with the release of the new Occasions catalogue.

There are some amazing products in this catalogue so be sure to follow the links at the end of this post to see the amazing projects everyone has created.

As it is summer here in Australia, I decided to create a fun, fresh card that suits any occasion (pardon the pun lol). Here is my card....

I have taken my inspiration for this card from the Tutti-Frutti suite. This is a great suite with cute images and vivid colours.

Using Peekaboo Peach cardstock from the 2016-2018 In Colour collection as my base, I then matted this with a fruity design from the Tutti-Frutti 6x6 Designer Series Paper. Then I cut another piece of matching cardstock about 3/4" wide and adhered to the front of the card.

I used a sentiment from A Good Day stamp set on Whisper White cardstock and then punched out the centre with a 1"circle punch. I layered this on co-ordinating coloured cardstock, first a 1 1/4" plain circle, then a scalloped circle using the new 1 3/8" Scallop Punch and mounted this using Dimensionals.

To finish off, I added alternating colours of the Tutti-Frutti Adhesive Backed Sequins.
